Which Tokenized Stocks Can You Pair Against on Pons? The Full Quote-Asset List

Pons on Robinhood Chain lets creators pair new launches against tokenized stocks like NVDA, AAPL and COIN, not just ETH. Here is the full candidate list and how it is actually checked on-chain.

Pons is not just an ETH pair anymore

Most bonding-curve launchpads only let you pair a new token against the chain's native asset. Pons, the launch mechanism on Robinhood Chain, supports a much wider set of quote assets: alongside ETH, a launch can be paired against USDG, cbBTC, or one of roughly thirty tokenized stock and ETF tickers, including NVDA, AAPL, AMZN, GOOGL, META, MSFT, COIN, and GME.

That matters for creators because the quote asset is what liquidity, price, and creator fees are denominated in. A launch paired against NVDA settles and earns fees in NVDA, not ETH — a meaningfully different bet on the underlying asset's price action, not just a cosmetic choice of ticker.

The current candidate list

TokenBundle's Robinhood Chain adapter maintains a checksummed candidate list that Pons checks against on-chain before showing it as pairable. As of this writing, the list includes:

Why this is a live check, not a static list

None of these tickers are simply trusted and displayed. Every candidate is checked in parallel against the Pons factory contract's approvedPairTokens and pairTokenEconomics before it is offered in the paired-asset picker — a token only shows up if the factory currently reports it approved with a nonzero graduation threshold. Approval can be added or revoked by the protocol at any time, so the list a creator sees today is a snapshot of on-chain state, not a hardcoded frontend array.

Decimals are handled the same way: rather than trusting a hand-maintained table, the adapter reads decimals() directly from each token contract and only falls back to its own registry value if that call fails. That fix exists because of a real production bug — USDG was originally hardcoded as 18 decimals when it is actually 6, which silently turned a 12.5 USDG creator-fee balance into something that displayed as roughly zero.

What this means when you launch

  • Picking a quote asset other than ETH means your liquidity, buys, sells, and creator fees are all denominated in that asset.
  • Funding still happens in ETH — wallets are funded in ETH and the system converts to the quote asset automatically before the buy, so you don't need to pre-acquire NVDA or USDG yourself.
  • Not every tokenized stock trades the same way once you're in: see how routing differs for tokenized equities in the next article.

FAQ

  • Can I pair against any stock I want? No — only tickers the Pons factory currently lists as approved pair tokens are selectable; the list above reflects what TokenBundle currently checks for.
  • Does the quote asset change how creator fees are paid out? Yes — fees accrue in whichever asset each launch was paired against, and are claimed per-asset. See the article on claiming creator fees across multiple quote assets.
  • Why does ETH still show first? It's the chain's native asset and always available; every other entry is only shown once it passes the live approval check.
